Smart Recommendations with Energy Efficiency GPT (EE GPT)
Targeted energy-saving opportunities
Efficient, proactive customer consulting
Effectiveness evaluation of savings measures
Integration and sharing of expertise
Which measures improve the energy efficiency of the system we are currently working on? How can I, as a facility manager, help my clients achieve more sustainable buildings? At SPIE, we rely on proven solutions to realize energy savings. With the E²-GPT assistant, we are now all empowered to provide our clients with well-founded recommendations to optimize energy efficiency.
At SPIE, we enable our clients to move towards a climate-neutral future with our energy efficiency solutions in building operations. Our expertise lies in a dedicated team and numerous data-driven success stories where concrete measures have resulted in energy savings. The need for energy efficiency improvements exists in nearly every project. That’s why we developed the “Energy Efficiency GPT” tool. It allows our facility managers and service technicians to proactively approach clients with targeted improvement suggestions. This digital assistant was created within the ID Team 2024 and is based on SPIE’s extensive know-how.
The solution uses specially trained Large Language Models (LLMs) to identify system-specific or building-wide savings potentials for CO2 reduction or cost savings through pre-defined prompts. This is made possible by combining multiple data sources and training the AI model as a ChatGPT clone. Our AI model evaluates savings opportunities on different levels. The recommendations are based on data from our CAFM system, which includes both building and system data.
The suggestions range from replacing energy-intensive pumps to medium-term replacement of inefficient systems due to age, condition, or frequent faults. This creates a solid basis for discussions with our clients to drive initiatives forward and highlight concrete potentials.
