Markus Holzke, Managing Director / CEO of SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa, talks about the factory of the future in a CEO interview with Lünendonk – and about how much companies can benefit right now from the wealth of experience offered by a multi-technical service provider like SPIE. The viewpoints of Martin Wibbe (Materna), Hans-Georg Scheibe (ROI) and Andrea Bruckner (BDO) are also interesting.

Of course we’ve invited our employees and their friends and families to the cinemas. You can also find out what’s behind the campaign and what we’re doing to attract new employees and prepare them for the future. One of the highlights: We’re partnering with the EUREF Talent Campus to develop new degree programmes with an alliance of universities in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region.
SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa signed a partnership agreement for the EUREF Talent Campus at the inaugural Future Energy Talk on 7 March 2023 in Düsseldorf.
Our employer branding campaign has been showing in cinemas since 2 February 2023. Forty real employees from different professions stand for the diverse technologies at SPIE and show what unites us: our enthusiasm for technical services. Since its premiere in Berlin, our ad has been on tour through Germany. It has also been shown in Landshut, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, and finally in the Cinemaxx in Hanover. Many of our employees have watched the ad on the big screen with their colleagues, families and friends.
As a multi-technical service provider for buildings, plants and infrastructure, SPIE has an extensive service portfolio. Replacing natural gas with green hydrogen in production processes, managing technical facilities in buildings, or undertaking planning permission for overhead line renovations: our staff work on-site for our customers.
When it comes to protecting lives, every second counts in a fire. In an emergency, people in a building have only 120 seconds to get to safety after the smoke alarm is triggered, so a fire safety system that can be relied on 100% is a key part of any building safety plan. As a multi-technical service provider, SPIE plans, installs, upgrades and maintains fire detection systems with innovative digital solutions that satisfy the complex requirements of facilities ranging from universities to waste disposal plants.
Power lines are being built, expanded and upgraded all over Germany to implement the energy transition. These high- and extra-high voltage power lines are often installed at heights above 70 metres. No easy task, but Christian Spichtinger feels quite at home up there. He dared to change careers and become an overhead line technician, just like 14 other new employees who just completed an introductory week for career changers.
