SPIE is a partner of the EUREF Talent Campus

New degree programmes for a climate-friendly future

The EUREF Campus in Düsseldorf will be a place of teaching and learning: Master’s programmes are being developed with a particular focus on fields such as smart energy and sustainable mobility. We at SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa are playing a major role in setting up the EUREF Talent Campus and look forward to passing on our practical expertise to students. Academic support for the Talent Campus will come from the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf and UA Ruhr (an alliance consisting of Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund and the University of Duisburg-Essen).

International degree programmes for a climate-friendly future
The EUREF Talent Campus is being developed in close cooperation between the scientific and business communities. There are plans to develop English-language Master’s programmes covering hydrogen, electric mobility, and sustainable solutions for a climate-friendly future.

SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa signed a partnership agreement for the EUREF Talent Campus at the inaugural Future Energy Talk on 7 March 2023 in Düsseldorf.

Young talents for the climate
Being part of the EUREF Talent Campus enables us as a company to connect two of today’s most important issues: developing concrete solutions to protect the climate and promoting young talents. Today we offer ten dual study Bachelor’s programmes including technical facility management, business administration, and electrical engineering. During these programmes, students can put their newly acquired knowledge straight to work in customer projects.

In our partnership with the EUREF Talent Campus, we look forward to contributing our expertise to courses on hydrogen or smart energy and being able to offer specialised Master’s programmes that give students the opportunity to expand and directly apply their technical knowledge.
