TÜV Nord CERT reaffirms the successful matrix certification of the SPIE Management System

Ratingen, October 8 2019SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa is pursuing a consistent growth strategy. The integration approach for newly acquired companies relies on best practice solutions. This means identifying successful processes in the company, introducing them as standard and then implementing them throughout the company. This is how SPIE ensures high process quality. The renewed matrix certification by the independent certification body TÜV NORD CERT confirms this.

Live integration on equal terms means learning from each other and anchoring the best solutions in the company - even at the process level. All 33 companies of SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa with around 15,000 employees have now received certification that standardised processes in the Management System are defined and implemented across the board. Also in 2019, the independent certification body TÜV NORD CERT confirms SPIE's successful integration of acquired companies through matrix certification according to the standards DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), DIN EN 50001:2011 (Energy Management System) and according to the new standard DIN EN ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational safety Management System).

"It is important to us not only to implement existing processes in newly acquired companies, but to learn from each other to work together to find the best possible processes for SPIE and to establish them as best practice solutions", says Markus Holzke, Managing Director/CEO of SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa. The SPIE Management System is therefore based on best practice solutions. In order to identify these best practices, the existing processes in the company are discussed in integration workshops, reviewed as a possible standard and then implemented throughout the entire company.

SPIE's Management System is thus continuously being expanded and adapted in order to further standardize the relevant cross-divisional business processes and thus further improve internal processes. "A uniformly certified Management System increases the efficiency of our work enormously. I am proud that we have received the matrix certification again in 2019 and that we are consistently further developing our system on the basis of the experience and ideas of our colleagues", says Marc Kämper, Management Representative at SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa.
