The really good solutions arise from teamwork – across the company in the spirit of ONE SPIE and in close cooperation with our customers and business partners.
The fifth issue of #DIGITAL traces our steady progress in the digital transformation, from our strategy to many specific smart services applications: data analytics, AI and IoT, robotics, digital twins, VR and AR, and automated processes and smart contracts.
On 17 and 18 June, 32 teams from every country in the SPIE Group came together in Vienna. At SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa, we are very happy to have organised the 33rd SPIE Football Cup, welcoming over 400 employees to Austria. The teams put their skills and team spirit to the test in perfect weather.
The teams put their skills and team spirit to the test in perfect weather. A team from Germany won the tournament. After an exciting final, Baden Power Sasbach celebrated its first-place win. The tournament’s participants were keen to congratulate the winners and concurred that even without winning the cup, it was a lot of fun to be with so many great people on the football pitch in Vienna and enjoy a fantastic supporting programme. Everyone agreed that it was a special weekend that they wouldn’t be forgetting in a hurry!More impressions from Vienna
Diversity is essential to our success as a multi-technical service provider, not only in terms of our range of services but also with regard to our employees. Promoting equal opportunities and diversity in our teams is thus of great important to us.
From LED lighting to e-mobility, and from photovoltaics to hydrogen, climate protection is SPIE’s core business. That is particularly clear in SPIE’s impressive portfolio of projects, solutions and services throughout Europe, which have been compiled in the e-book ‘Solutions for the Energy Transition’. Other examples are the projects headed by Bodo Cirkel in Dortmund and the hard work by Christian Wasmeier in Ergolding.
As a multi-technical service provider for buildings, facilities and infrastructure, SPIE offers an extensive range of services. Our employees work on-site for our customers to construct extra high voltage overhead lines or infrastructure to supply liquid natural gas, and to make buildings on the Siemens campus in Erlangen self-sufficient.
